Is Kit Kat a candy?

 

A Kit Kat is a wafer bar covered in chocolate. They are produced worldwide by Nestlé, apart from in the USA, where they are manufactured with permission by a subdivision of Hershey’s. Kit Kat was created by Rowntree’s in the United Kingdom, which Nestlé subsequently took over in the late 1980s.
